Diana Trabel is a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, author, and many other personas.
I like to say that I reinvent myself every ten years or so. At this stage in my life,
the artist has evolved. Making jewelry began as a hobby, became almost an obsession,
and now a business. As my daughter loves to say when she visits and peruses my beads,
"The possibilities are endless!" and that's what makes it so much fun! Inspiration
comes from many sources and at all times of the day and night.
The name Tanner Creek Jewelry reflects the beauty of nature which I'm surrounded by
each day. My husband Dan and I live on a farm in Southeastern Indiana in Lawrenceville, Indiana.
Tanners Creek runs through our farm - hence the name.
One of my greatest joys in making jewelry, is sharing the craft with my ten grandchildren.
Nichole at 12 years old is my budding beading enthusiast. Whether it's stringing beads,
attending bead shows, checking out the latest beads at bead stores, the time that we share
is precious. Even the youngest at 2 and 3 years old, have their own tub of beads that
they "string" on shoestrings!
